Andrew started playing at the age of thirteen, (doesn't look a day older) and represented his county at junior level. He has been a qualified coach for over 11 years, and is a LTA Licensed CCA (Level 4) and USPTR qualified coach. Leatherhead Lawn Tennis Club caters for all ages and abilities, was selected by the LTA to become a Community Tennis Partnership Club.

MINI TENNIS (AGES 3-10)

What is mini tennis?

 

It is a wicked game designed for kids aged 3-10 years old. It uses smaller rackets, smaller courts and special balls. It is fun, energetic and easy to play. There 3 different levels Red, Orange, Green as noted below. We offer courses all year, fun events and awards for juniors with all coaching run by LTA/USPTR qualified coaches.
Friday              4:30 till 5:15pm Mini Red Squad.  4-7 years old
Saturday          9.45 till 10.30am Red Squad  Squad 4-7 years old
Thursday         4:45 till 5:30pm    Mini Orange Squad. 7-8 years old
Friday              5.15 till 6pm Mini Orange Squad 7-8 years old
Thursday         5.30 till 6.15pm  Mini Green Squad  9-10 years old
Saturday          10.30 till 11.30am Mini Green Squad 9-10 years old
11 – 17 YEARS OLDS we run large programme for juniors aged 11-17 throughout the week all year round for all abilities. Please call Andy (Club Coach) on 07971 151411 for more information.

Junior club night

We have a Junior Club night on every Fridays at 6:00 – 7:30pm starting on the 4th March.  This club night will run till November 2011.  It is a night where Andy our Coach will be supervising fun based games for all our juniors aged from 10 years old and upwards at a cost of £2 for the whole night, non members £4

Junior Tournaments  

We run a number or junior tournaments and tennis teams throughout the year.   So if your child is keen to play a few matches and win some prizes, then please contact our coach Andy about dates and times etc.

Holiday Progamme

We run a number of holiday camps in the school holidays throughout the year.   Dates and times are available from our Coach Andy.  So please contact him about more details.

Racket Sales and Re-strings 

Andy our coach provides a service to all members about which Racket and racket string which is best suited for you and a competitive price!  He also can advise you on the type of tennis trainers you should get and he also can get them at a competitive price too!  So again please contact him on for more details.

Needless to say they also provide individual coaching both for all standards (even the author's which is not great).
